Outstanding Performance for Kayleigh

Our very own Young Adult Carer, Kayleigh Harris, has won the Fife College Student Associations’ Outstanding Performance Award for her hard work this past year in developing the Young Carer Officer role at Fife College

Working closely with our Development Worker, Kayleigh led and organised a series of information events, awareness raising stalls and showcased her skills and experiences of caring as a direct contact and advice figure for Young Adult Carers at Fife College.

Kayleigh has been in our service for several years and understands the benefits and the difference support can make to a Young Carer and actively campaigns for this – not just at college but also as a member of our participation and engagement group here at FYC, the Voices of Change.

Massive congratulations Kayleigh - well deserved and we hope you feel very proud of your achievements, we can’t wait to hear what you get up to this year to further support Young Carers
